日前，由雷振生团队研发的“小麦优质高产亲本材料创制与郑麦379等品种选育应用”项目获得2023年度国家科技进步二等奖。雷振生团队长期以来一直在河南新乡的中原农谷培育小麦突破性品种。
中原农谷是农业大省河南倾力打造的农业科创平台，以育种为核心兼顾智慧农业发展和高标准农田建设。在中原农谷核心区，已建成100万亩高标准农田示范区，源源不断的新良种，作为嵌入土地里的农业“芯片”，让中原农谷“实现粮食单产提升，打造种业创新高地”的目标一步步变为现实。
